Introduction to Distributed Cloud AIP
Threat Stack is now F5 Distributed Cloud App Infrastructure Protection (AIP)
As of December 2022, Threat Stack has integrated with F5 Distributed Cloud Services (F5XC) and transitioned to a new brand: F5 Distributed Cloud App Infrastructure Protection (AIP).
What does this mean?
Existing users: Your login experience will not change and will continue through app.threatstack.com. As part of your next renewal terms, your login experience will change when you migrate to Distributed Cloud AIP (see Log into Distributed Cloud AIP below). No immediate changes to your organizations or subscription are needed until renewal. When you renew your Distributed Cloud AIP contract, contact your sales representative for assistance with your migration to Distributed Cloud AIP.
New users: If you intend to purchase or evaluate Distributed Cloud AIP as a cloud protection solution, learn more about service offerings and how to get started with Distributed Cloud AIP here.
Important
To access the Distributed Cloud AIP tile on F5XC, you must be a tenant owner of at least one namespace OR have one of the following roles in the system namespace:
- ves-io-monitor-role
- ves-io-admin-role
- ves-io-power-developer-role
- f5xc-aip-admin
- f5xc-aip-user
- f5xc-aip-user

To request a Distributed Cloud AIP account as a new user:
- Log into the F5 Distributed Cloud Console.
- In the All Services section, click App Infrastructure Protection. The About App Infrastructure Protection page opens.
- Click the Request Service button. The Service Requested notification displays. You will receive an email once your account is provisioned.
Important
To access Distributed Cloud AIP, you must be a tenant owner of at least one namespace OR have one of the following roles in the default and system namespaces:
- f5xc-aip-admin
- f5xc-aip-user
- f5xc-aip-user

To log into Distributed Cloud AIP once your Distributed Cloud AIP account is provisioned:
- Log into the F5 Distributed Cloud Console.

In the All Services section, click App Infrastructure Protection. The About App Infrastructure Protection page opens.

Click the Visit Service button. The Distributed Cloud AIP login portal opens.
- Enter your login credentials and click Next. Distributed Cloud AIP opens.
Note
The first time you log in, Distributed Cloud AIP may take up to three minutes to provision your organizations.
Note
Your Distributed Cloud AIP session expires after one hour of inactivity or 24 hours total. To resume your session, click Login on the F5XC Session Expired notification.
