Threat Stack enhanced the following features in the Application Security Monitoring (AppSec) Node.js 1.5.4 release:

  • Improved both the microagent’s boot time and request performance
  • Removed ajv from the dependency list

Additionally, this release includes assorted minor bug fixes.

Threat Stack enhanced the following features in the Application Security Monitoring (AppSec) Node.js 1.5.3 release:

  • AppSec Node.js now includes Node v14 support, with increased v8 reliability
  • Removed a dependency on clone library
  • Improved stream error handling

Threat Stack enhanced the following features in the Application Security Monitoring (AppSec) Node.js 1.5.2 release:

  • The AppSec integration no longer issues multiple runtime attack detection events for single requests for Sails.js-based Node.js applications

Threat Stack enhanced the following features in the Application Security Monitoring (AppSec) Ruby 0.2.2 release:

  • Path Traversal
    • The Agent now performs runtime attack detection and blocking for path traversal.
    • Attack detection is enabled by default, but can be disabled through a configuration flag.
    • Attack blocking is disabled by default, but can be enabled through a configuration flag.
  • Capped internal queue for events.

Additionally, this release includes assorted minor bug fixes.
