Enable Email Alerts and Automated Reports in the Threat Stack Cloud Security PlatformⓇ

Organization owners and users can configure email alerts and receive automated reports from the Threat Stack Cloud Security PlatformⓇ (CSP).

Enable Email Notifications for Alerts and Reports
  1. Log into the Threat Stack CSP.
  2. Click the Settings tab. The General Settings tab displays.

  3. In the Notification Settings section, from the Enable Email Alerts drop-down menu, specify whether to enable email notifications for your alerts.

    Note

    By default, it is set to Do not send emails for any alerts.

  4. From the Daily Email Reports option, select the check box for the report(s) you wish to receive. The available reports are:
    • Alert Report (Daily): It lists a daily breakdown of all alert rules triggered in your monitored infrastructure.
    • FIM Report (Daily): It lists a daily breakdown of all File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) alerts triggered in your monitored infrastructure.
    • Vulnerability Report (Daily): It lists a daily breakdown of vulnerabilities found across your monitored infrastructure.
    • Consolidated Compliance Report (Daily): It tracks critical compliance controls, such as privilege escalations and user logins, within your monitored infrastructure.

  5. After making your selection, click the Update Notification Settings button.

Your email alerts and report notifications settings are updated immediately.

Note

The automated report(s) will be sent in 24 hours.

Update Email Notifications for Alerts and Reports
    1. Log into the Threat Stack CSP.
    2. Click the Settings tab. The General Settings tab displays.

    3. In the Notification Settings section, update your selection from the Enable Email Alerts drop-down menu.
    4. From the Daily Email Reports option, remove the check box for the report(s) you wish to stop receiving.
    5. After making your selection, click the Update Notification Settings button.

Your email alerts and report notifications settings are updated immediately.

Note

If these changes are made before a report is generated for the day, you will receive the report that same day.
