Add or Remove a Distributed Cloud AIP User

Important

This page contains information for legacy Threat Stack customers who manage users within the Distributed Cloud AIP platform. If you log into Distributed Cloud AIP through the F5 Distributed Cloud Services (F5XC) platform, see User Management for information about managing users within F5XC.

Add (Invite) Users

You add (invite) users through your F5 Distributed Cloud App Infrastructure Protection (AIP) organization Owner account. Accounts with the User role can invite new users, but can only assign new users the User or Reader role. For more information, see Account Roles.

  1. Log into Distributed Cloud AIP with your organization Owner account credentials.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Settings. The Settings page displays.
  3. Click Users. The Users page displays.
  4. In the Invite Users section, in the Enter email for invitation field, type the invitee’s email address.
  5. From the Role drop-down menu, select the role the invitee will perform in Distributed Cloud AIP. For more information on roles, see Account Roles in your Distributed Cloud AIP Organization.
  6. Click the Invite User button. The user receives an email with instructions to set up an account with Distributed Cloud AIP.

Remove Users

You remove users through your Distributed Cloud AIP organization Owner account.

  1. Log into Distributed Cloud AIP with your organization Owner account credentials.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Settings. The Settings page displays.

  3. Click Users. The Users page displays.
  4. In the row for the user account to remove, select the Actions dropdown menu.
  5. Select the Revoke Access button. A notification message displays.

  6. Click the Revoke User button. The user account no longer has access to Distributed Cloud AIP and no longer displays on the Users page
